About The Role:
Scaled is the premier recruiting partner of the most ambitious startups and we are looking for our first full-time Senior Talent Sourcer hire in the United States. The Senior Sourcer will be laser focused on providing our clients with the highest quality candidates at speed, principally across Operations, People, Marketing, Legal and Finance roles at high-growth startups. We are looking for someone who has an in-depth understanding of the US tech startup ecosystem.
This is an exciting role at a startup recruiting company looking to take on the industry giants. In this role you will be supported by a full operations, engineering, design, analytics, and recruiting team to ensure you’re leveraging the latest technology and most efficient processes to find the best candidates quickly. We are a fun, high-caliber team on a mission to take on the world!
We pride ourselves on being a globally distributed team. This is a fully remote role for someone based in the United States.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Working closely with a Senior Recruiter to intimately understand the client brief and identify the very best startup talent at speed. We aim to delight our clients by providing them with quality candidates within 48 hours of role kick-off.
- Own, manage and lead the end to end sourcing process, focusing on daily volume and quality metrics.
- Use multiple channels to creatively source talent, outside of the typical job board and resume channels. The more innovative and niche your talent sourcing methods are, the better.
- Fully utilise our ATS (Recruiterflow) ensuring that data accuracy / quality is maintained through all processes and that it accurately reflects the status of all sourcing activity.
- Be involved in suggesting and implementing new ideas and processes that will contribute to the growth of Scaled’s sourcing function.
- If mentoring and coaching is a strength of yours, we’d love you to get involved in actively upskilling the whole team.
What You’ll Need:
- You have 2+ years of high volume sourcing experience for high-growth companies and a comprehensive knowledge of the US startup ecosystem. Our clients are largely premier Silicon Valley tech startups.
- You’re an expert on hard to fill, non-tech roles, particularly senior and C-level Operations, Marketing and G&A roles like People, Legal and Finance. We currently focus primarily on non-Sales, non-Engineering roles (e.g. VP Finance, Director of Growth Marketing etc).
- You have a real passion for all things sourcing -- creative research and a thorough understanding of candidate search techniques (e.g. Boolean and semantic search) using both paid and free resources. You keep an eye on current talent sourcing trends in the industry.
- Lead by example. Be a beacon of excellence for the wider Sourcing team, through strong performance and proactive problem solving.
- An optimistic, enthusiastic, positive and fun person to work with.
- Organized. You have an effective system to manage your to-dos, ensuring that you never drop the ball.
- Extensive experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (Recruiterflow would be a bonus).
