Customer Service Rep-Starting Pay 15.47/Hr-Sept 28th Start Date

Role Summary

This position will respond to telephone inquiries from providers or representatives. Establish and maintain rapport with contacts and present a favorable corporate image. Educate customers on coverage, claim submission, and use of self-service offerings.

In this role you will:
Receive and respond to a wide range of provider inquiries received via the telephone.
Educate providers on coverage, claim submission and use of the self-service offerings available via the Integrated Voice Response (IVR) and Portal.

Ability to learn and apply Medicare guidelines and computer-based self-service tools
Knowledge of or ability to learn and apply insurance and medical terminology
Ability to identify customers issues, research, and initiate appropriate action

You need to have:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
2 or more years recent customer service experience with significant communication, keyboarding, and use of PC

We also prefer:
1 or more years recent Medicare experience
Coursework in medical terminology or understanding of general medical terminology
Coursework in Business Administration, Communications, or related field

Compensation and Benefits

Starting base salary $15.47 an hour
Each quarter you have the opportunity to increase your pay rate
Average Increase: $4.00-$6.00 per hour above base pay
Eligible for annual Short Term Incentive Program
401(k) with dollar-per-dollar match up to 6% of salary

Additional Information:
Start Date: Monday, September 28th
Training Schedule: First 4 -6 weeks of employment, Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 4:00 pm
Scheduled Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:05 pm
Work from Home: Must be an IL resident and within an hour radius from the West Frankfort, IL location.
