Role Description

Dalet Flex is  a configurable content supply chain solution that resolves the multi-platform delivery needs of today’s content creators and distributors.  To support the increasing success of this product, the Product Management department is looking for a Product Manager to join the existing team, contribute to the evolution of the Dalet Flex product, with a specific focus on OVP/OTT workflows.

This role in the Product Management team will actively interact with Customers, Prospects, Presales, Marketing, R&D and Customer Success and handle the following responsibilities :

  • Define functional and non-functional requirements regarding Media Workflows, with a focus on the content delivery
  • Specify the key functionalities to deliver agility, flexibility, ease of integration in the supply chain, functional richness and a compelling user experience
  • Ensure the creation of cloud native next generation services allowing a consumption in subscription and SaaS modes



Collaborate with the Marketing, Product Marketing, Sales and Presales teams to build a product roadmap

  • Based on the market analysis and competitive research of Product Marketing, as well as on the feedbacks gathered from customers and prospects, identify and understand problems and opportunities
  • Build and maintain a roadmap in line with the market goals (high-level requirements and milestones)
  • Identify the unique selling points of the product in the targeted markets to prioritize their development

Contribute to the promotion of the product internally and externally:

  • Contribute to the evangelization of the product during private or public events, such as conventions, on-line events, presentations to customer, prospects or partners.
  • Support the sales force for product related questions
  • Be the reference point on technical and functional aspects of the product
  • Write and maintain the technical product associated documentation (datasheet, release notes)

Define and evolve the product in collaboration with R&D and Customer Success:

  • Write detailed requirements in interaction with R&D
  • Define the user experience and interfaces in interaction with the UI/UX team
  • Support the development of the product by clarifying open issues raised by R&D
  • Maintain a documentation of the associated costs required to deliver and operate the product
  • Manage the release plan (content and delivery milestones)
  • Continuously improve the customer journey with the Customer Success team
  • Identify and resolve issues pro-actively (internal process, sales queries, trade-offs, priority calls) which can impact the corporate goals (delay, technical issues, risks).
  • Proven experience in OVP/OTT distribution workflows (Live and VOD) and architectures (CMS, Player, Storage and CDN, payment gateway, analytics, Ads management, encoding, live streaming, DRM, user management)
  • At least 3 years of Product Management experience, preferably on a B2B SaaS product.
  • Practical experience in cloud native architectures, technologies(Kubernetes, Docker, Linux) and concepts.
  • Experience working with Cloud/SaaS services such as Amazon AWS, Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure
  • A thoughtful leader, customer centric, who instills confidence and is also able to get into the weeds.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate both verbally and in writing a compelling vision.
  • Used to working in an international distributed team environment, with large projects and in complex organizations.
  • Disciplined and results oriented. Must be entrepreneurial with a high-level of energy, intensity, dedication, and an unrelenting drive to succeed and win.
  • Ability to prioritize, negotiate, and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Travel, when safe to do so, will be required to participate in internal/external meetings: up to a quarter of the time.
